Protect Our Plug

The Plug and Vision of the Valley Meetings

Incase you missed the Vision of the Valley Meetings, you can catch up by reading through the meeting minutes or watching the replays. https://mediazilla.com/mu7flVAyIc

Why is this important? It effects The Plug and the overall master vision of the valley.

The top four things that became separate breakout groups were:
The Plug, The Sewer System, Housing, and Zoning.

As stated in the community newsletter:

The first “Vision for our Valley” meeting sponsored by the Montana Department of Commerce was attended by approximately 60 people in person and 10 via Zoom. A great demonstration of caring about our community! We gave our input on the things we change, protect, create, and preserve. Our facilitating team of Dan Clark, Mary Anne Keyes and Trent Balestri were charged with the task of taking those walls of note cards and coming back with some way of helping us make sense of all of the data and figure out what to do with them. One of the topics that came up and stated many ways was preserving the small town feel as well as our natural resources. In the second meeting we addressed four important issues that came from the first meeting; Septic, Zoning, Housing and the infamous Plug. The foundation and framework for having difficult conversations was laid and we are anxious to get to the tasks keeping in mind the values identified by the attendees.
